For what we have discovered so far, the following seems true:
Occupational Guilds
GOOD - Tower Guards of Tar Valon (fighter) - Children of Light (fighter) - Order of Azaeze (?fighter -- closed?)
NEUTRAL (not true neutral, can be either good or evil?) - Mages (magic)
- Fighters of Demonia (fighter)
- Black Company Mercenaries (fighter)
EVIL - Garou werewolves?
- Khiraa (magic - ?closed?)
Looks like there are no true "evil" spellcasters if Khiraa is closed, and not sure you can consider Garou "fighters"?. . .this doesn't make for good "balance" even if we get more players as hunting areas will dry up fast, nor does it help with PK :-)
Layman Guilds
GOOD - Children of Light (fighter) -- assuming this is occupational + layman given guild exp - Granville Militia (fighter) -- assuming good, since they battle trolls
- Tarrinian Elves (gen skill + heal) - White Arm Tower (magic)
NEUTRAL - Blacksmiths
EVIL - Skeletal Hand Crypt (magic) - Nightblades (thief)
Were there other evil Occupations that were closed? Evil Layman? The mud seems balanced now toward joining "good" or "neutral" guilds. It also makes playing generally evil races (drow, orc) due to lack of options.

I think the khiraa is closed. I can confirm the garou have at least one active member. Seen a wolf around. Regarding the azaeze, I never heard about them! Most interesting to discover them. The smiths are indeed a layman guild. The skeletal hand crypt is on the same basis as the white arm tower in Torsborg. It is only available as a layman guild for occupational mages.
Could the azaeze be the same as I mention wind dancers? That's an occupational guild.

Have mapped most every part of France/Normany, investigated the mist, some hints in Epernay make more sense if the Khiraa are closed (and perhaps other NPC have been removed as well). Doesn't help evil races (orc, drow) as their choices are very limited and eventually their grinding areas are as well. Can confirm the Azaeze are layman - not occupational, I've seen at least one posting on a board by a Mage + Order of Azaeze player. Also, although the Order is in Pegana, that doesn't mean it is in Darkleaf Forest. . .I have spent quite a lot of time there, lots of secrets, haven't found "wind dancers" or Garou yet. Regarding the "wolf", I see someone with a wolf quite often, but the player is unresponsive (bot), I won't reveal where, but the player has a wolf, not is a wolf, and has a particular grinding pattern. Are you in contact with any of the wizards?

I have been in contact with lets call him "the grinder". he is a Mage/Granville militia. There is also one more player also logged in at the same time that i have never met. Im quite sure this is the active Garou.
The Garou hiding place/entrance is extremely hard to find and not really logical with how exploring other areas work.
Would love to take you on a trip through Darkleaf forest and Esgorim/Drimor wastes and point at stuff i have found but have never solved.

Usually there are two players (including me) when I am on, and I know where to find "the grinder" and I play on EST zone.
Some areas I have been over with a fine tooth comb and others I have just walked through and mapped and tried obvious actions. Remember, I am operating at a disadvantage not being part of any guild at the moment (racial included) so I don't have any skills beyond what I may have learned in various training halls and through the use of herbs. I have found several things in DL forest, I'll mail you in-game. I am also limited for the reasons above, and Chu Arranh can vouch for that :-)
I may pay the plats and have my race changed so that I have more options in terms of guilds.

I do belive the Order of Azaeze is an occupational guild due to the different message i got when i tried to join as a fighter of demonia, it said that my loyalty was somewhere else rather when i tried to join after leaving the fighters of demonia. Also it is possible to be in an occupational like mercernaries or in the case i think you saw order of azaeze, and at the same time be a student of the mages as layman. Looks like another Good, fighting occupational guild. Ill move it to occupational

Hmm. Where do you change your race? Demonia, in the southeastern part of the city.
